Join local professor and historian, Rich Acritelli, to learn all about Long Island during the American Revolution, addressing the unique history of Long Island's contributions towards the cause of freedom against the British. We will look at the main causes of the war, the local signers of the Declaration of Independence, our leaders, and the fighting that took place on Long Island. This will be an interesting look at the sacrifices of our earliest citizens to help establish the United States some 250 years ago. Registration required.
